How to Use Recruitment Assist on LinkedIn

Recruitment Assist helps recruiters find candidate profiles on LinkedIn, push resumes to the company database, and manage candidate information efficiently.

This article explains how to use Recruitment Assist on LinkedIn, push candidate profiles, add candidate notes, and use its key features.

  1. 1
    Search for Candidates on LinkedIn

Log in to LinkedIn and search for candidates or connections using the search bar.

  2. 2
    Apply LinkedIn Search Filters
Use LinkedIn's connection filters to narrow down your search results.
    • 1st-degree connections: People directly connected to you.
    • 2nd-degree connections: People connected to your 1st-degree connections.
    • 3rd-degree connections: People in your broader professional network.
Select the appropriate filters to find relevant candidates.
  3. 3
    Open a Candidate's Profile
Select a candidate from the search results to open their LinkedIn profile.
  4. 💡Important
Ensure you are on the candidate's profile page and that the contact details are available.
  5. 4
Push the Candidate Profile to Your Database

The process depends on the LinkedIn version you are using.

    For standard LinkedIn users

    1. Open the candidate's profile.

    2. Recruitment Assist will prompt you to confirm whether you want to push the resume to your database.

    3. Click PUSH to add the candidate's profile to the database.

    For LinkedIn Recruiter users

Recruitment Assist automatically pushes the candidate's profile when the profile page loads, provided the required contact information is available.

Once the profile is successfully pushed, you will see the confirmation notification:

“Resume is successfully pushed into your database”.

  6. 📝Note
LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite may have different page layouts.
  7. 5
    Add Candidate Notes
CrintellTech Assist provides a Candidate Notes interface that allows you to attach notes to a candidate's profile within the database.

Use this feature to record relevant candidate information for future reference.
  8. 1.
    Duplicate Profile Notification
If a candidate's profile already exists in the database, Recruitment Assist displays a black notification box to alert you. This helps recruiters identify existing candidate records and avoid unnecessary duplicate entries. Quick tip: Hover over the notification to view the available resume and contact details without opening another window.
    2.
Access Contact Details for Non-Connection Candidates
CrintellTech Assist can help recruiters access contact details for candidates who are not their direct LinkedIn connections, provided the candidate's information was previously pushed to the company database by another user and is available to them. This allows recruiters to access existing candidate information without needing a direct LinkedIn connection.
  9. 💡Best Practices
    • Ensure you are on the correct LinkedIn candidate profile before pushing a resume.

    • Verify that the required contact information is visible and available.

    • Check for duplicate profile notifications before proceeding.

    • Refer to the workflow video if you need help identifying the relevant buttons or notifications.

    • Remember that the LinkedIn Recruiter and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite interfaces may differ from the standard LinkedIn interface.
